Title:The UN could not enforce its first resloution! What will change?

If the Arab armies succeeded in 1948 and there was no Jewish state today would this man be crying about a lack of a Jewish state? Some how I doubt it.

The UN did nothing to enforce its resolution. They only said we think this is a good idea.

What parts of the British mandate Israel did not capture were annexed by Jordan, Egypt, and Syria.

18 years passed between 48 and 67 and none of the Arab states and not a single Palestinian group pushed for a Palestinian state.

This more than anything else proves that they were not interested in a state, but in Arab control. The Middle East is huge, and much of it is barren, if the Palestinians simply want a state then go create it somewhere else.
