| Nobody won. Livni, Mofaz, Dichter & Sheetrit altogether attracted only 53.7%. The real winner was "None Of The Above" with 46.3% of the eligible members, supposedly Kadima`s committed core activists. This so-called party has clung to power for far too long after losing the moral force of its basic policy of disengagement, irrelevant and I believe, largely discredited, almost as soon as Kadima entered office with its Labor partners. Without a general election, any new coalition can have only the same scanty legitimacy as the current one in the eyes of the public. That election is long overdue. |
