| So what is new? The UN have an entire department devoted to aid for the Palestinians. They have never developed an economy and it is not because of Israel, billions have been funneled into making it work. Having visited many a "refugee" camp here and in Africa, the difference is billions of miles. Try Shuafat in Jerusalem for instance. Nice big villas, maybe not so nice roads and so forth (that is mostly a cultural thing, your house is spotless, your area outside another matter) The poor are always with us, even in the modern west, but refugees, those that are homeless, with no electrity, clean water, and homes very basic, mostly dirt tents for some. The UN does so little in Africa for refugee. The differences are striking. The Palestinians have had 60 years to make a difference and all they choose to do is fight with the sword and are so divided and fighting themselves, I dispair, I am not sure they deserve what they get. |
