| i had been doing the research about this topic ever since 2005 when i got stock in USA being an israeli citizen with an israeli ex-husband who wouldnt let our daighter leave the country to visit the grandparents in israel because he was afraid i will kidnap her. all this while he moved to a different state in usa, didnt pay child support and hardly saw our daughter. HAG convention has been invented and signed so people would have a mobility freedom. this is by itself a preventative measure of the modern world. the situation in USA is bad but in israel where the exit stop order is put on people for up to 18 years is much worse. this is absurd that israel had signed Hag convention but locks its citizens untill the age of 18 just "in case". europe is waking up to the fact that so many european chldren with an israeli dual citizenship are being locked up in israel. and Europe will not cooperate with israel knowing that their citizens will be locked up here. we are creating a new problem. |
