I think the big problem in Israel is that Israel has signed on the Hague convention, but it is acting like it isn`t. When people divorce the Hague convention is giving legal guarantee to the other party that the children are coming back. If someone will kidnap the central authorities will bring them back and this process is for FREE. The whole excuse of giving high guarantees is ridicules since the process is for free. Also I think it is not far to give exit stop orders to all the women, because most women do not want to kidnap their children. People are not guilty until proven otherwise.
Besides that I think if the father doesn`t let the children to travel it will ruin his relationship with the kids. So my advice for the fathers is letting your children go on vacation, I`m sure the relationship will be much better. I`m a divorced father, my wife can take the kids to her family in abroad whenever she wants, I trust the Hague convention that if there will be a problem that she will be send back, and I also do think that 99.99 %f the women won`t rescue their custody. If the will kidnap the custody will be at stake. I do not like my ex wife any more, and she doesn`t like me, but we do have 3 children together, and I do think it is important for them that they can see their family abroad, and I think it is important their mother (although I really do not like her, and I`m very mad and disappointed at her). I think we have to overcome those feelings and have to see what is in the best interest off the kids.
I was in shock to hear about this lady who had to leave one child her as a guarantee if she wanted to take the kids on vacation. Children in divorce need support of both families and need to be together. How can a judge do this? |
