| The American taxpayer has gifted Israel with so many F-16s that Israel no longer wants or needs more. They have passed Israels cacacity to maintain what they have already. In spite of this huge air force, Israels first inclination in a crisis is to get America to fight Israels wars. In spite of its size, the IAF is best at small, short range missions which attack undefended targets. There are so many problems associated with an attack on Iran that even the most rabid right wing Israelis in the leadership will not truely want to risk such an operation. The only thing at risk in an Israeli attack upon Iran are world oil prices, which will spike at such news, even if the IAF never finds a single target. |
