?Is this for internal or external consumption? EXTERNAL. ?What does Khamenei want to say? 1. That an attack on Iran is not only an attack on the nation but on its islamist system. 2. That a response would be increasingly "unconventional" in nature, as the conventional Iranian Army is pushed aside from it. It is doubtful the US, Israel or any other country would view the message as conveying something very different than what they would already expect.
