| Here`s a religious leader advocating ethnic cleansing and collective punishment. Religion has caused so much suffering to humans throughout history that I wonder why we bother with it. Think about it. There`s no proof there is a god, let alone what type of god he or she might be. There is, on the other hand, ample proof that religion causes pain, suffering and hatred. The very act of saying `I know what God wants and you must do what I say, or God will punish you` is aggressive and divisive. |
