| P.M. Olmert makes assertions that are unfounded, and false. He maintains that he can make a deal with Syria that will change its basic view of Israel, on a permanent basis, no doubt. Of course, Syria will gladly take back the Golan Heights and play the peace role for a time. Similiarly, Olmert in a fit of grandiosity, claims that he can make peace with Lebanon,and can change the views of Israel`s Arabs.. There is too much evidence that call these positions into question, as well as almost all of Olmert`s firm assertions of "truth." The P.M. needs a a break from the job. |
