| So what do you suggest the arrogant, strutting little punks of Israel do about Iran, Peter, now that their big dozy American catspaw has refused to do their dirty work for them? The logistics of an attack are impossible, now that Iraqi airspace is closed to them, and no American refuelling and search and rescue facilities will be offered. After the catastrophe on world markets today, there`s no way that anyone is in a mood to rock the boat any more. The world needs a long, quiet period to rest, lick its wounds and recover. War, on behalf of Israel, is not on the agenda. Israel will have to get used to living with a nuclear Iran and will have to learn the untried art of diplomacy. The region will be better for it. |
