| present tense. It`s like he can`t accept that Olmert is yesterday`s man and most likely going to do jail time for his sins. Doens`t Aluf Benn understand that Olmert could not have brought any of his plans to fruition even if he had reached a `deal` with Abbas? Abbas couldn`t deliver pizza let alone make good on a peace plan and Olmert couldn`t have gotten even one of the points in his `shelf agreement` through the Knesset. The idea of giving away the Golan is dead because of the necessity of a referendum. No thinking person thinks of peace between Hamas and Israel and the question is how to get rid of Gaza completely. The only foreseeable type of peace with Arabs in the West Bank could come by providing economic stability allowing them hope for the future. The whole Olmert family is the antitheses of what Israel needed and I don`t know one person that voted for Kadima that doesn`t regret it. I have a clear conscience because I didn`t vote for any of the Quisling parties. |
