| It is not so complicated. Although Kadima had a referendum to pull out of the west bank, the 2006 war intervened. In spite of this war, Olmert could have placed a freeze on west bank settlement expansion. Instead, this expansion increased under Olmert. It is one thing to say that the 2006 war prevented Olmert from dividing the land, but it is a much farther leap to explain why Olmert continued and increased the expansion. |
