| There is a new cold war emerging as a result of the Bush policies in Europe and the former Soviet satellite states. The natural battleground for such a cold war will not be Europe as it was before. It will be the middle east and also certain South and Central American nations. The most obvious and easist gotten away with Russian response to America will be for Russia to arm and supply Syria and Iran with defensive weapons. Russia claims that these won`t alter the balance of power in the mideast, but, of course they do. This is especially true as Iran completes its nuclear program and develops more sophisticated surface to surface missiles with Russian aid. |
