| Legislative immunity is an ironic bit of anti-democratic thinking. Consider Italy, where about 70 of the elected legislators legally belong in prison. On the contrary, an elected legislator should be held even more responsible than the average citizen for his statements, particularly for shouting fire in the crowded theater that is Israel. Lieberman is a racist, and his incendiary politics need to be exposed....he himself removed from public office. |
