The major difference, which you both seem to be missing, is that Iran has repeated threatened to wipe Israel off the map and have openly admitted to funding terrorists trying to do exactly that. They don`t call them terrorists, but you get the point.
Iran is not Poland in 1939. Poland never threatened Germany. Iran is not Georgia. Georgia never threatened to attack Russia, it simply tried to assert sovereignty over a region which was internationally acknowledged as part of Georgia.
Prior to the Iranian Islamic Revolution Israel was on friendly terms with their western leadership. Israel has repeatedly reached out to its Arab neighbors to negotiate for peace but they (especially Iran) respond funding terrorists. Supporting the current Iran administration, helping them develop nuclear weapons is nothing short of criminal. Russia is directly responsible on both counts. |
