Adar Primor, Haaretz Correspondent: Russia: Moscow-Tehran ties don't harm Israel

Title:Lavrov, hinting and promising.

Mr. Lavrov has always been a straight forward not so diplomatic voice of the Kremlin and its St.Petersburg royal court. This writer, believes that Mr.Lavrov is perhaps one of the finest Foreign Ministers since the Russian Renaissance of 1989.
The promises made vis a vis Iran and its thirst for weapons are indeed carefully monitored by the Kremlin. Enough problems have the Russian people endured, whether the Afghanistan fiasco or current Chechnya. Russia will not sell offensive weapons to any potential enemy no matter how much arm twisting comes to bare.
Finally, Georgia. I agree with the hinting, I just wonder how many Russian SU/MIG"s were actually shot down. Just as well certain rumors remain rumors.
