I`ve talked with a number of native people in the U.S. who readily identify with the Jewish/Zionist concept and understand the need to fight, hopefully politically and diplomatically only, for one`s homeland. Numerous articles in Haaretz have borne this out.
In one specific case, such a person from Minnesota, representing her tribe against private landowners, told me the only lawyers willing to help her tribe were Jewish. They eventually prevailed in court. She and her people are strong supporters of Israel as a Jewish homeland. |
