| JES puts the retcon pedal to the metal... JES: "but this is purely a statement of OPINION not one of POLICY." Then Olert needs to say that those words are Eitan`s OPINION, and not Israeli POLICY. OLMERT, not JES, nor PETER SM. JES: "Further, he isn`t really even threatening anyone." !!! JES: "All he is doing is making pointing out the legitimacy (in his opinion) of bringing someone to court, even if that means abduction, should they threaten the citizens of a state." JES plucks this "threaten the citizens of a state" nonsense from thin air, because Eitan is talking about "threats to the existence of the state". JES: "That`s it, and it really isn`t very much different than what numerous Iranian and Hizballah leaders routinely do" NO, because you misrepresent his words. He is not saying that Israel should react to any action FROM Iran, but that Israel should kidnap Ahmadinejad because it feels threatened BY him. A Completely Different Argument. |
