| JES in retcon overdrive... JES: "but this is purely a statement of OPINION not one of POLICY." Then Olmert (or Barak) need to SAY that Eitans words are his OPINION, and are not their POLICY. THEY are the ones who need to say that, not JES. They have not. JES: "Further, he isn`t really even threatening anyone." !!! JES: "All he is doing is making pointing out the legitimacy (in his opinion) of bringing someone to court, even if that means abduction, should they threaten the citizens of a state." JES plucked this "threaten the citizens of a state" nonsense from thin air. Eitan clearly talking about threats to the existence of the state. JES: "That`s it, and it really isn`t very much different than what numerous Iranian and Hizballah leaders routinely do" That is NOT it, because you misrepresent his words. He is *NOT* saying that Israel should REACTE to any action from Iran, but that Israel should kidnap him because it feels threatened by him. |
