| Israel is in the back burner except for a possible strike on Iran which I hope doesn`t happen.I would prefer negotiations. We have too many pressing American problems like the economy, gas, Iraq, and Afganistan. I think the American public has been drenched with peace talk initiatives that don`t go anywhere. We don`t take them seriously. It would be wonderful if Israel could solve her Palestanian issue; but I am for leaving it to another country to be the broker. Now we have Palin, who won`t even be interviewed as of yet, possibly influencing the election. Florida could help here. There is a large more liberal Jewish population which might find Palin rather scary once the wrapping paper comes off. |
