| The whole point of Shin Bet agents is to be anonymous and their identies kept "secret"..you just can`t grant a public notice to the world such as a degree in this abridged time--somebody would check that the students got such a breakand deduce they were Shin Bet and cover would be exposed. In fact the Shin Bet guy that proposed this absurdity should be fired for putting his org in jeopardy of such exposure risk.The universities are correct in refusing this request on academicprinciple-but on practical grounds of Israeli securiy the rquest itself is absurd. |
