| Contrast the first paragraph with the next to last one. Do they seem to contradict each other? If the academic work can be done in less time, there is nothing wrong with it. To disparage those who seek higher degrees because they do so in order to improve their job positions and earn more money who probably condemn the vast majority of students. Once again Levy constructs strawmen to prove(?) his points. Unfortunately one cannot always learn how to think sensibly in a University. |
