Since you probably haven`t ventured out of Tel Aviv in a decade except to shed crocodile tears in Gaza, you may not have noticed that at least one portion of Tzahal, the olim of choice, know perfectly well what we`re doing. Most of the young people from the United States who make aliyah, like me, have at least a bachelor`s degree, and most of us serve in Tzahal nonetheless--over 90% of those of us who do serve in combat units. We choose to do what we do--and thanks to people like you who have popularized the refusenik movement, our sabra brothers in arms have made the same choice. I know we`re only participating in a "nationalistic religious orgy," but we`re making it possible for you to take part in your own anti-nationalist atheistic self-pleasure session in Tel Aviv without being blown to bits or beheaded.
