| Nothing particularly new in this. As Polish philosopher Leszek Kolakowski observed, perhaps not every anti-Zionist is an anti-semite, but practically every anti-semite is also an anti- Zionist. The hair-splitting over differences between the two is pathetic, for it is glaringly obvious that anti-Zionists use every single trope found in the anti-semitic discourse, the chief among them being singling-out Israel (anti-Zionists) or Jews (the anti-semites) for their obscene, and, ultimately, murderous rants. See use of such terms as "cabal", "media control", "hidden influence"` etc. etc. As for talkbacks which were once limited to the lunatic fringes of public discourse, they have long since infested the liberal press, including, inexplicably Haaretz, which gives free rein to Dursons, Indrajayas, Clickfools who spew their filth all over the place. The fact that some of them are paid agents (like Ivar who is obviously on Saudi payroll) of Israel`s enemies, makes it even more astonishing |
