Personally I have no problem with settlers in the West Bank, then again I do not believe in the two state solution, but I do draw the line at taking private land for non-government purposes. There is plenty of state land. If there is demand for housing in the area then by all means they should build their.
On a final note I will point out the last sentence in the article particularly the line ?it offers yet another glimpse into the methods used by settlers to expand and build new settlements? I did not see anywhere that this was an op-ed. If it is then I am mistaken, but if this was supposed to be an ?objective? news brief then such a statement is a sign of poor journalism and a lack of professionalism. |
