The Bush administration, as well as other Presidents thinks they can dictate to Israel who they may or may not respond to militarily or through negotiations. When Israel has considered moves against Syria, Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah over the past few years, the white House has restrained them. Biden is saying that Israel should have the freedom to protect itself as it sees fit. Israel is America`s full ally, not a subject state to be ordered around. that`s the type of Zionism I want to hear from D.C.
