Abbas is a professional Holocaust denier, and his shaky government holds almost no sway in the Palestinian street. I don`t really expect Abbas to turn into a rose overnight and say anything negative about Kuntar, who is just another Palestinian "hero" for killing unarmed Israeli civilians. If Abbas, on the other hand, would fire half of his cronies and actually do something about his own corrupt government...well, then w I`d even get excited about the prospects of a potential peace settlement. In the meantime, there`s just so much Palestinian hot air we can take.
