| If true this is an important step for the Syrians in their drive to regain the Golan and for the Israelis to become "comfortable" with the idea. This is otherwise known as normalization. While exporting the terrorist problem to the Sudan doesn`t solve it - it does weaken Meshal significantly and exposes him to the forces that be (yanni, sayonnara buddy). I see it as a win-win, no matter what. With confidence-building measures like this, who knows what can happen - like something good, maybe, for once.... |
