Their targets are almost always nearby and undefended." - IAF shot down 400 syrian planes in the first lebanon war without losing one - IAF flew all the way to bagdad (NOT nearby) and succesfully destroyed the iraqi nuclear reactor in 1982 - IAF destroyed possible syrian nuclear installations in sept. 2007 after shutting down syrian radar system - IAF destroyed all long range hizballah missiles in the first day of the 2006 war - IAF destroyed whole egyptien air force in a few hours in 1967 I could go on and on like this and I guess that if they`ve never been shot at its due to the lack of skills of arab forces (and not to lack of material as they were always supplied by the Soviets) than to any form of over rating of the IAF.. |
