Iran was given a huge sphere of direct, on-the- ground influence, from Baluchistan to the Eastern Mediterranean, as a consequence of the US invasion of Iraq. Its terrorist proxies have skyrocketed their capabilities since 2003, and dug their heels all around Israel. Hezballah, Hamas, PIJ, PRC and even Fatah offshoot terrorists are all puppetted from Tehran.
The invasion of Iraq indeed caused a catastrophe: Iran`s rearing its fascist, theocratic and terrorist head all around the Islamic world and beyond, well into Indonesia and Venezuela, Iraq and Ecuador, Syria and Bolivia, Gaza and Nicaragua.
If you add to this the weapons systems Iran is acquiring from Russia, it is a formidable enemy for Israel. I believe they will make sonner than later a hubris mistake that Israel and the US will be able to take advantage from. |
