| I`m Anglo/American and hold their passports plus an Israeli one. I`ve visited NY on 4 occasions and hated it on 3 of them. The fourth time I was hosted by a rich Italian/American film producer in Manhattan and spent all my time in expensive restaurants. I spent 14 years in LA working in the film business and would have left after a couple of months if not for my wife who insisted on staying there. America is Israel`s friend but a visitor from Israel summed it up when she visited me in Tel Aviv, "mike you have everything here but soul". New York is good for Israelis like Olmert`s sons that are running away but after making Aliyah five years ago I`m very happy living in Tel Aviv. Mike http://redbourn.notlong.com |
