| I am a religious Jew and strongly disagree that it is because of lack of Torah teaching that this has happened. In the past year or so there have been a few prominent cases of child abuse which have taken place in Israel carried out by very religious Jews who have a strong grounding in Torah and mitzvot. Abuse and other such things take place amongst all sections of society be they religious or not, rich or poor, educated or uneducated etc etc. |
