| nothing that you`ve mentioned makes a case for them being "antisemites" you`re just using the same old tired labeling system that claims anyone who questions israel...or a jew...is "antisemite". it`s people like you who have rendered the word meaningless and moot by using it indiscriminately. an antisemite is one who haters and despises jews; NOT necassarily someone who despises israel`s treatment of the palestinians. you "cheapen" the word by using it in the empty and meaningless manner that you do... maybe your problem is that you`ve never experienced "antisemitism"...so you have no real concept of what it really entails. i`m an american...and i can tell you right now that i think it sucks that we support israel and turn a blind eye to it`s cruelty and oppression of the palestinian people...does that make me "anti-american"? does my despise for israeli policies and blind support of the settlements make me "anti-israel"? "anti-semitic"? NO IT DOES NOT! quit minimizing the word`s true meaning! |
