| I have great respect for Yossi`s knowledge but this time I am quite flabbergasted by this article. First of all, it is good to remember that the US Administration is elected to pursue the interests of the United Staes and not those of Israel. Second, it is absolutely legitimate to advocate a less hostile US position vis-a-vis Iran, especially considering the internal conflicts within the Islamic Regime`s political and religious echelons. Perhaps this is even the wiser policy. Nobody really knows for sure but we have already seen the bitter fruits of an American policy based on confrontation. Finally, it is specious to declare the Revolutionary Guards a terrorist organization based solely on their complicity in attacks on soldiers, as awful as that is. Terrorists attack unarmed civilians and non-combatants for the most part. This seems like a transparent attempt to paint every militant organization as terrorists, which is inaccurate. |
