| The right of Jews to "return" to Israel is one that derives from Israeli law, not international law. It is the law of the State of Israel to hold imnmigration open to any member of the Jewish people in much the same way that the laws of Ireland or Greece make it easier for a person to immigrate to those countries if they are descendents of Irish or Greek people. When a Palestinian state is formed, if one ever is, it will be up to them to decide who gets to "return" to that state, and not any other. |
