| Abbas wants refugees to go home well are there any refugees left alive even somebody who left as a baby will be in their 60s now. There are very few refugees left alive. Allthough UNRWA backs the palestian idea that anybody who is decended from an arab who left during Israels war of independence. UN General Assembly resolution 194 describes a palestian refugee as an individual who lived in Palestine between 1946 - 1948. In other words anybody who left after 1948 is not a refugee which means that the 4-5 million palestians who describe themselves as refugees with a right of return are nothing of the sort. The palestians and their supporters love to interprit resolutions in a way that backs their propoganda. I am sure that if palestians wanted a right of return for the real refugees and their partners but not their decendents then Israel would say yes considering they would all be dying rather than breeding. |
