Description of the photo mentioned including other real anti-Semitic remarks of these youngster?s acts, should be a source of educational, political historic, intervention by Jewish and Israeli?s, having been there few decades ago when Rhodes touristic was in its ? baby shoes ?, when Holocaust and German occupation were still vivid and less than 10 Jews were living there, telling the story of the pass, speaking about friendly / assisting local population. ?
Rhodes became a fashionable Israeli short term recreation area, ? Where at the time certain anguish feelings concerning possible Turkish invasion was noticeable and its small mostlamic population was not favorable considered in public expressions. Religious not affiliations of its population was mainly to Greek Orthodox Catholic church which was not always on the best of relationship with Israel, but the Israeli visitors / tourist were welcome at this time.
Now comes the great ? 60 million dollar question ? what caused this reported Hostility / Anti-Semitism? ? What has been done by Jewish Organization and in particular by Israel?s Foreign Ministry and Israel Tourist Ministry to counter these manifested acts / trends. ? Another Question is what has the Nato Member Greece done to eradicate / re-educate its population which suffered very much from Nazi ? German Occupation. ? What do the local Greek Authorities to eliminate this ? apparently existing ? groups, respectively re-educate them?
