| Two jokes to start with.. How do you tell a pilot at a party?.. he`ll/she`ll tell you. With all these new advances in fly by wire all you now need in the cockpit is a pilot and a rotwiller.. the pilots there to feed the dog and the dogs there to make sure the pilot dosn`t touch anything:-) We used to say in the SAR community that the pilot was just the taxi driver(sorry taxi drivers) who got you to the scene. it was the aircrew who did the work. but i think most of the new generation of pilots are waking up to the fact that theres loads of playstation kids out there that could do the job. the differince is they may be asked to put their lives on the line to defend the country. |
