The Israeli government`s talking points: that the government "foiled" the Free Gaza activists by not stopping their boats, is just silly on its face.
The Free Gaza Movement always intended to sail to Gaza, not confront the IDF Navy. They submitted to impartial inspections by the Greek and Cypriot authorties and sent messages to the Israeli government inviting them to travel with them on the boats.
What the Israeli government cannot face is the Free Gaza Movement demonstrated heroically the power of nonviolent resistance against military oppression and violence.
