| I agree that relying on the Americans for protection is not comforting, however the noted system is just the input center for space based weapons. The Americans are just signing up another customer for their system which will shoot ICBMs out of existance, in space. Nobody is really worried about long range missiles which take an hour to get to their target at the speed of sound; but they are concerned with missiles that shoot into space then fall to their target in 15 minutes. The US got Canada on board 2 years ago and Israel is privileged to be within the protection area. But remember, it is still going to be a US general which decides to push the button or not. |
