| The timing of this diplomatic move makes sense. Now that the Lebanese government is controlled by Hezbollah, the militant arm of Iran, Lebanon and Syria can now make nicey nicey to each other, which is a reflection of the close ties between Damascus and Tehran. The order came from Iran to it`s new province Lebanon: be friends with Syria, it is our ally. |
