| How much more of an obvious signal does we need to give you that attacking Iran would be a massive mistake? We`ve had your President to the White House, and rebuffed his requests to attack. We`ve had our Sec of State explain to you that the political option is our choice over any military option in Iran. Now we`re telling you that we won`t supply you with anything that might even possibly be used to attack Iran. When it comes to the norms of international politics, we are practically SHOUTING at you at the top of our lungs and flailing madly for Israel NOT to attack Iran. How much clearer do we need to be before Israel gets that message that the US is DEAD SET AGAINST Israel attacking Iran (especially by flying through the US-controlled air over Iraq). We`re trying to run an election over here, so we`re trying to be subtle. Please take the hint. Don`t back us into a corner where we are forced to stand up and outright denounce Israel. That isn`t in either of our best interests! |
