| As Axel points out, the article doesn`t fit the facts. The US Airforce doesn`t have new refueling planes based on Boeing`s 767. It is also flying 40-year old planes that are about to fall apart. The US Defense Department must choose soon whether to buy a refueling plane based on the 767 or a plane to be made by Northrop & Airbus based on the A330. In any case, delivery will be years from now---Northrop still doesn`t have a factory to assemble the proposed A330 version. |
