| Add this diplomatic failure to a long growing list including,Kosovo,Gaza,Iraq,Leb.and now Georgia.While I have no doubt Georgia was provoked,she should have told them NOT to attack So.Ossetia.From the Russian view,it is being surrounded by hostiles and missles (like the US in Cuba) and the West has no credibility after stealing Kosovo and killing 2,500 Serb civilians.Condi is supposedly a "Russian Expert" who speaks "fluid Russian"-she should have known better.She`s an accomplished woman in the wrong job."The Cold War is Over",yes, but the "Hot War" has just begun.Condi,please go back to college before you get us all killed.We once worked with Stalin,we can work with Putin-it`s called DIPLOMACY-not idle threats.Had the Russians attacked Georgia first,that would be an entirely different scenario. |
