| Hey! Russia after collapse of USSR was not playing any major game until recently. Now thanks to US threats to Iran, high price of oil helped Russia to boost its economy more. They have military, political and economy resources and they were looking for an excuse to revive the cold war era. US used the Russian invasion of Georgia as an excuse to sign the AMD deal with Poland, and now Russia will react by going further, they will stay in Georgia permanently and will extend their military presence to Mediterranean Sea. They will arm Syria and Iran. Their defense shield will be installed in Syria and I will not be surprised if they even take some military actions against Poland. I do believe it was a strategic mistake by US. Time will show. cheers, :) |
