an icbm from iran to new york would pass over poland, and north scotland, and north greenland as well. however an icbm from iran to the us west coast would pass over russia and then between japan and the extreme north of scandinavia (the arctic sea area), nowhere near poland. are there defensive shields to be based in these areas too?
