The USSR helped Syria and other Arab countries attack Israel as soon as Soviet leaders realized "kibbutz" didn`t equal "communist". That support never wavered from the end of the Soviet Union to the modern Russian attempt at hegemony.
It`s no surprise, therefore, that Arabs who blamed `48 on `67 claim that recent Israeli support for democratic Georgia is the reason the Russians have always supported Arab tyrants. |
