Hizbullah needs to not kidnap Israeli soldiers on the Israeli side of the border. More importantly, Hizbullah needs to accept that Israel has a right to exist and to stop using the tiny piece of contested Syrian land as an excuse to not disarm in accordance with UN1701.
Lebanon becoming a "terrorist" state is hardly a solution "in order to compete" (a shortsighted way of looking at the issue), but rather accepting Israel`s right to exist and seeking resolution that is fair to everyone. Fair means compromising and so far there sure hasn`t been any compromise coming from Hizbullah, Hamas or Fatah. |
