Of course America will support Israel in whatever it does. That is why Wasington is so concerned about what Israel might do.
This is a case where Israel could do the US infinitly more harm than with the spying...the Liberty, depleting the treasury, exigence to attack Iraq, etc. Whatever Israel does in the Middle east, the rest of the region (rightly) will assume that the US will support it`s 51st state...and that is scary...very very scary. Because that takes our fate out of our hands and puts it in yours. If you stir up the hornets we will get stung. |
