Once again, a misleading headline.. This was organized by the families and NOT by The "Offical" IOC. As it has done from the begining, it has refused, to aknowledge the 1972 massacre by Palestinian terrorists and ignored pleas by the families, to correct this injustice, that has a stench of Anti-Semetism and Anti-Israeli setiment.
And what were the families thinking, having both Samaranch and his successor, Rogge, at these services? These two, are partly responsible, for the exclusion of a memorial service at ALL the previous Offical opening ceremonies. They both should have been booed and thrown out, but, we are too politically correct, to do the RIGHT thing...As, WE should boycott these games, having the Iranians, continue to particapate, after refusing to engage in sportsmanlike conduct with the Israeli delegation AND having a "PLO" contingent...These games are a farce and we SHOULDNT be there...Where is our self respect!!?? |
